Bird Watching in Nuy Valley
A natural haven for birds. Up to 100+ bird species have been spotted on the farm and surrounds, incl. owls, kingfisher and fish eagle. Follow a walking trail into the mountain and watch birds from the bird hide.

Hiking Trail
Follow a 2-10 km hiking trail through the vineyards into the mountain. Moderate level of fitness required. Farm animals, Birds, Fynbos, Waterfall.
Wine- and Olive Tasting
After skipping a generation one of the Conradie sons, Cloete-Pieter (viticulturist & oenologist), has started making wine on the farm again. These award-winning Conradie Wines can be tasted at the Nuy Valley Restaurant and boutique cellar. Cloete-Pieter hosts the wine tasting on request. Exclusive wine tasting for group bookings before dinner.
A WINE TASTING WITH A DIFFERENCE! The special horse cart takes visitors on a unique trip, which includes olive tasting at the Willow Creek Olive Estate in the Nuy Valley and wine tasting at both the Conradie Boutique Cellar and Nuy Wine Cellar.
10 km Horse Cart day trip into the kloof
Enjoy a Nuy Valley horse cart day trip, which includes a delicious picnic luncheon with wine amongst aloes and veld flowers. Especially beautiful during flowering season from August to December.
OR a full day horse riding trip through the vineyards and along the mountains
For the more energetic! This Horse-riding trip will also take you deep into the spectacular Nuy River ravines and is especially beautiful during flowering season from August to September.
The full day trip includes a BBQ at the Kloof Hut. Other activities in the Kloof are swimming in the pools and trout fishing.
Conradie Family Wine Cellar
After an absence of 40 years, of winemaking on the farm Werda, CP Conradie, the 5th generation viticulturist and oenologist, decided to begin producing quality wine again, like his grandfather used to do until 1964. Wine tasting open 7 days a week.
This valley is renowned for its excellent wines and the awards they often receive across the globe.
