Africa has many animals. Can you help increase their numbers? And have great fun at the same time?
Perhaps we can collect 1000 drawings; perhaps 10 000; what about 100 000? If you tell all your friends and family, maybe - with your help - we can gather a massive collection...
There are the Big Five (Africa's greatest wild animals: the lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino) or the Big Seven (if you include Southern Right Whales and Great White Sharks), and many, many others.
We at Kontrei.co.za - at the southern tip of the great African continent - want to celebrate these animals by giving you the opportunity to send us your own drawing of any wild African animal you like!
So, put your work - and your computer - aside and take a paper and crayons, pencil or whatever, and draw a lion, an elephant, a crocodile, a warthog or any of the many African animals.
Then simply photograph it with your camera or cellphone - or scan it in - and send it to us by email at animals@kontrei.co.za (please include your name/nickname, age, city and country to make it even more interesting for viewers!).
We will display your original drawing on Kontrei.co.za for the world to see and enjoy!
As with most things in life there are a few rules...
Rule #1: Don't use your computer to create your animal drawing!
Rule #2: Don't send photographs of African animals that you took in the zoo or on safari! Why? Because those animals weren't created by you (unless you are an African animal yourself!)
Rule #3: Don't send photographs of items that you bought in a store, or that someone else made! Why? Because those animals probably weren't created by you!
