De Zeekoe School Community Project

Zeekoegat Primary School has been open since 1938. Due to the increasing learner numbers at the school and the poor condition of the current building, the community has expressed a great desire for a new school to be built. A Trust was formed by Safari Ostrich farm, De Zeekoe guesthouse, Welgeluk Farm (Olier family) and the owner of the Tour Company Sam 2 Tour (Stephen Menzies).

Through social upliftment and addressing the needs of the community, we hope to give these children the tools and opportunities to improve their lives and give them an education on a solid foundation.

Meerkat Magic Is Back

Our Meerkat magic man was very ill for a while and in a coma. We did not have tours in weeks because he was hospitalized. He is doing very well at the moment and tours are going on as normal. Tours are now R750 pp for guests staying at De Zeekoe. Should you book directly with Grant other fees will apply (R1500 pp).
